Lorena ISD Receives Texas Platinum Leadership Circle Award 4th Year

The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts launched the Texas Comptroller Leadership Circle program in December 2009 to recognize local governments across Texas that are striving to meet a high standard for financial transparency online.

Previously Lorena ISD has earned SILVER and GOLD Leadership Circle Awards. This year LISD earned an even higher award – the PLATINUM Leadership Circle Award by scoring 21 out of a possible 22 points on the rating criteria. The district is recognized for providing a clear, consistent picture of spending and sharing information in a user-friendly format. LHS Band Flautist makes 2015 ATSSB All-State Band

Congratulations to LHS band member Felicity Fulton for making the 2015 ATSSB All-State Band!

Felicity will perform with the All-State Band at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention in San Antonio, Texas in February.
