The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts launched the Texas Comptroller Leadership Circle program in December 2009 to recognize local governments across Texas that are striving to meet a high standard for financial transparency online.
Previously Lorena ISD has earned SILVER and GOLD Leadership Circle Awards. This year LISD earned an even higher award – the PLATINUM Leadership Circle Award by scoring 21 out of a possible 22 points on the rating criteria. The district is recognized for providing a clear, consistent picture of spending and sharing information in a user-friendly format.
